Kazakhstan, Astana / Trend K. Arynova / The number of sea vessels registered in Kazakhstan is steadily growing, according to Kazakhstan's Transport and Communications Ministry.
"In the 1st half of 2007 the State Ship Registration registered 142 sea (in 2006 - 117), 809 river (in 2006 - 792), and 20,697 small size (in 2006 - 18,603) vessels," according to the press release of the Ministry.
The length of Kazakhstan's ship waterways comprises 3,982km.
