One attempt saw the installation of an 850-meter-long pipe under the ground when the pipeline was in its construction phase. This pipeline carried oil to a tank located under a farmhouse. The oil leakage was at very low amounts, making it very difficult to detect. We investigated many other illegal pipes during the construction phase. The drillings of the pipelines may also cause environmental problems.
