Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 May / Trend orr. E.Ismayilov / The trust "Complex drilling work" of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will start developing exploration well in the land area Turkan. The perforating work was held on the well. The depth of the well is 3,800metres.
The well was drilled on the "Svitu Gala" by the Absheron Drilling Unite.
SOCAR considers the opportunity to drill two exploration wells in the perspective area Turkan. The two productive wells had been drilled in the area in the mid of 20 century.
The Drilling of second exploration well is also expected in 2008. It is expected that one of the wells will be drilled 3,800 metres deep and another - 4,000 metres.
The expected production rate is 40 or 50 tons.
