Member of the British royal family, Duke of York, Prince Andrew will visit Azerbaijan, the British Embassy in Baku reported to Trend . The prince will visit Azerbaijan on June 2.
"Prince Andrew will partake at the opening ceremony of the Oil and Gas exhibition in Baku on June 2," the Embassy said.
Duke of York is the British special representative on the international trade and investments.
The oil and Gas, Oil Refining and Caspian Oil and Gas exhibition and conference are significant arrangement in the oil and gas sector in the Caspian region. The exhibition will be held under the patronage of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on June 2-5.
The Industry and Energy Ministry and the State Oil Company render official support to the exhibition. The British company ITE Group and its partner in Caucasus Iteca Caspian jointly with the Azerbaijani Commerce and Industry Chamber are the organizers of the exhibition.
Over 400 companies from 30 countries are expected to partake at the exhibition.
