Commercial Sea Port of Aktau increases transfer of oil cargo

The International Commercial Sea Port of Aktau (ICSPA) transferred approximately 7.5 million tons of oil cargo in January-August, compared to 6.4 million in January-July, the port said.

In August the port shipped over 1 million tons of oil cargo, compared to 920, 400 tons in July.

The ICSPA shipped about 1.6 million of dry cargo in January-August, compared to 1.3 million in January-July.

The total volume of the cargo shipped by the ICSPA, both oil and dry cargo, was 9.1 million. In August this index was 1.3 million tons.

1,327 vessels entered the port in January-August.

At present there are 6 International Sea Ports in the Caspian Sea: Baku (Azerbaijan), Astrakhan (Russia), Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan), Aktau (Kazakhstan), Enezeli and Neka (Iran).
