About 12.87 million tons were transported in January-March via the system of main pipelines KazTransOil JSC compared to 12.07 million tons over the same period in 2009, the statement posted on the official website said.
Cargo turnover via the system of main pipelines KazTransOil in the first quarter amounted to more than eight billion ton-kilometers.
About 3.44 million tons were pumped during January-March via the section of the Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline Uzen-Atyrau-Samara pipeline for further transit through the pipeline systems of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus compared to 4.3 million tons over the same period of last year.
The volume of oil transportation through the pipeline "Atasu-Alashankou" amounted to 2.45 million tons in January-March compared to 1.45 million tons over the same period of last year.
In January-March, the transit of Russian oil through the oil pipeline, located on the territory of Kazakhstan, was more than 1.34 million tons compared to 1.2 million tons over the same period of last year.
