Iran reduces petrol import twice

Iran imported 507.250 tons of petrol during the first quarter of this year (new year in Iran begins March 21). The total cost of imported petrol was $376 million, İSNA agency reported.

It was reported that petrol was imported, mostly from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkmenistan, Singapore, Oman and the Netherlands. This figure indicates that imports of petrol fell by half compared to the same period of last year. Last year during this period, Iran imported 1 million 33,000 tons of petrol. The total cost amounted to $911 million.
