Ekol continues land clearing operations in industrial areas

In January-June, vehicles of CJSC Ekol muhendislik xidmetleri transported more than 11,000 cubic meters of polluted water and groundwater from industrial areas of the operating company "Suraxani oil", the CJSC said.

In January-June, vehicles of CJSC Ekol muhendislik xidmetleri transported more than 11,000 cubic meters of polluted water and groundwater from industrial areas of the operating company "Suraxani oil", the CJSC said.

According to the report, during this period 680 cubic meters of polluted water and groundwater from industrial areas of the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet was also transported.

Also during the reported period the CJSC excavators and bulldozers transported 5,156 cubic meters of land (dry residue) remaining from processing of oil sludge formed at Heydar Aliyev oil refinery and the Azneftyag oil refinery.

In January-June, vehicles of special purpose transported 515 cubic meters of sludge, 4,558 cubic meters of polluted water, 2,267 cubic meters of land from industrial areas of Absheronneft Oil and Gas Production Department (OGPD) of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). Some 489 cubic meters of sludge and 280 cubic meters of land were transported from industrial areas of Balakhanineft OGPD.  

Co-founders of Ekol Muhendislik Xidmetleri, created March 1, 2006 to solve environmental problems existing in the Absheron peninsula, are SOCAR - 51 percent and Lancer SA Services - 49 percent.
