The Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry reported that auction for sale of the refinery area and buildings located on its area in Batumi will be held at 17:00 Sept.1. The starting price is $14.5 million.
Appeals to participate in the auction are accepted until 13:00 Sept.1.
Under the terms, buyer must pay 50 percent of the cost within 30 days after the auction. The remaining amount should be paid until Dec.1, 2010.
Moreover, in accordance with the agreement, the owner shall ensure the operation of the property in accordance with standards and regulations. The owner should not lead to discriminatory policies with respect to regional consumers.
