Kyrgyzstan imports 490,000 tons of coal for winter season, Energy Minister Askarbek Shadiev said at the meeting of Ata Meken parliamentary faction today, CA-NEWS reported.
640,000 tons of imported coal is required. "350,000 tons are delivered from Shabyrkul coal field, 140,000 tons from Kulan field. 150,000 tons of local coal are procured this year. The Electric Stations is responsibly for this process," the Minister said.
