U.S. crude prices rose on Friday as the United States added more jobs than markets' forecasts in January and tensions in Iran were intensified, Xinhua reported.
Light, sweet crude for March delivery gained 1.48 dollars, or 1. 54 percent to settle at 97.84 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. In London, Brent crude for March delivery also rose and last traded around 114 dollars a barrel.
