Turkmenneft to sign contract with Lenstor Enterprises Ltd

Turkmenneft State Concern will sign a contract with Lenstor Enterprises Ltd (Malta) on purchase of systems measuring the volume of oil and determining its quality as well control equipment for these systems.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a relevant decree.

It is expected that contract on services on management of work related to purchased equipment, its configuration, and training of specialists held by Turkmenneft will be signed.

Turkmenneft is instructed to fulfill works on mounting, assembly and commissioning of above mentioned purchased equipment.

The contract will be signed in accordance with Program of development of the country's oil and gas industry till 2030 aimed at successful implementation of tasks set before the country's oil producing sector.

Turkmenistan plans to increase capacity of oil refining up to 15 million tons per year in 2015, in 2020 - up to 20 million tons in 2025 - up to 22 million tons in 2030 - up to 30 million tons.

In accordance with the approved plans, this will be achieved through the construction of three new refineries and upgrading existing plants, including those in Turkmenbashi and Seydi, where the winners of the tender were recently determined.

At the same time, the country annually produces about ten million tons of oil, much of which is processed in local factories.

At the largest enterprise of the country - the refinery in Turkmenbashi city construction of plants for the production of benzene, toluene, xylene and their derivatives in the near future will begin.

At present, various types of gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, lubricating oil and universal oil, coke are produced here.
