Oil shipment from Sangachal terminal increases in Q 1

In Q1, 2014, the Sangachal oil terminal exported about 75 million barrels of oil via pipelines and rail compared to 71 million barrels in January- March, 2013, according to BP report as of Q1, 2014.

In Q1, 2014, the Sangachal oil terminal exported about 75 million barrels of oil via pipelines and rail compared to 71 million barrels in January- March, 2013, according to BP report as of Q1, 2014.

Some 65.2 million barrels out of the total volume of exported oil from the terminal have been pumped via Baku-Tbilisi -Ceyhan pipeline, 8.02 million barrels on the western pipeline route Baku-Supsa, 1.34 million barrels by rail and as well as 0.44 million barrels of condensate via the BTC.

In 2013, the Sangachal terminal exported about 286.2 million barrels of oil compared to 282.9 million barrels in 2012.

The daily volume of gas exports from the terminal amounted to 25.5 million cubic meters in the first quarter of 2014 compared to 27 million cubic meters in January-March 2013.

At present, the total capacity of the technical processing systems of the terminal makes up 1.2 million barrels per day, and for the gas from the field "Shah Deniz" - 27.4 million cubic meters per day (together with associated gas from "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" oil and gas fields total gas processing capacity at the terminal is 41.5 million cubic meters per day).
