Turkmen refineries increase oil refining volumes

The plan has been fulfilled at 101.4 percent in the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for two months of this year, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan said March 16.
"In particular, the production plan of all types of gasoline has been fulfilled at 108.7 percent," the statement said. "During this period, new achievements were reached in the production of kerosene, diesel fuel, polypropylene and liquefied gas."
Turkmenistan plans to bring the capacity of the oil refining industry up to 20 million metric tons of oil by 2020, up to 22 million metric tons of oil by 2025 and up to 30 million metric tons by 2030.
At present, the country annually produces about 10 million metric tons of oil, mainly processed at the local enterprises.
