Russia and Bahrain will sign a memorandum of understanding between gas giant Gazprom and the Noga oil and gas holding company, according to the documents prepared for the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, TASS reported.
According to materials, discussions are currently underway to establish a multi-stage plan of gas cooperation.
Bahrain's oil and gas holding Noga also signed an agreement with JSC Rosgeologiya in the field of geophysical studies aimed at exploration of reserves and production of oil and gas. A five-year program of explorations off the caost of Bahrain was prepared/ It implementation should start in 2017.
