The State Reserve Agency of Ukraine has selected the Trading House of SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR in Ukraine, as the winner of the tender for the supply of 3,700 tons of jet fuel, the enkorr news agency reported May 15.
SOCAR Energy Ukraine offered jet fuel from Kremenchug city to the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine for more than $1,020 per ton.
The final delivery date of the jet fuel is Sept. 1, 2018. The place of shipment is the city of Chernihiv.
In 2017, SOCAR supplied about 12,000 tons of jet fuel to Ukraine’s Defense Ministry.
