The volume of sale of oil and gas condensate by the JSC "National Company "KazMunayGas" (KMG)”” of Kazakhstan for the first half of 2018 amounted to 9.33 million tons, which is nine percent higher than the indicator for the same period last year, the report of the KMG's financial and operating results for the first half of 2018 reads.
The volume of gas sales in the reporting period has reached 12,003 billion cubic meters, having increased by 37 percent compared to the first half of 2017. The gas exports have increased by 122 percent to 4,414 billion cubic meters, while the supplies to the domestic market have grown by 12 percent to 7,589 billion cubic meters.
The volume of processing of hydrocarbon raw materials for the first half of 2018 has amounted to 9,829 million tons, which is 13 percent more than in the same period last year.
In the first half of 2018, the volume of processing of hydrocarbon raw materials at Kazakh refineries has increased by five percent compared to the first half of last year – and has reached 6,549 million tons, due to an increase in the volume of obligations of subsoil users in respect of supply of oil to the domestic market and enhancement of the production capacity of oil refineries.
