Russia’s LUKOIL company sees significant potential for growth in sales of its motor oil in the retail market of Azerbaijan, the company told Trend.
“Already today LUKOIL industrial oils are used by the largest industrial enterprises of the country, such as Azerbaijan Railways, Bahar Energy, Azneft and many others. The sale of LUKOIL’s ECTO fuel has begun in Azerbaijan since 2013. Today, it accounts for 98 percent of the total retail sales. Since the beginning of 2018, the total volume of petroleum products sold by the company in Azerbaijan amounted to 266,000 tons,” said LUKOIL.
The company recalled that LUKOIL has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1993 in the field of sales of petroleum products.
“The company has 60 gas stations, including leased and franchised ones, and a petroleum depot, providing transshipment of 320,000 tons of petroleum products per year. LUKOIL is a reliable supplier of diesel fuel and motor gasoline, as well as lubricants to large international and Azerbaijani companies operating in the local market. LUKOIL's share in the sale of petroleum products on the Azerbaijani market is 10 percent,” the company said.
