Uzbekistan's Uzbekneftegaz JSC received an industrial gas inflow from well #5 at Tumaris field (Bukhara region) of Gazli oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports citing the company.
As a result of drilling performed at 2025 - 2040 meters, an industrial daily gas flow of 200,000 cubic meters was obtained.
The Tumaris oil and gas condensate field was commissioned in December 2019.
Currently, four wells of Tumaris field produces 720,000 cubic meters of natural gas, in 24 hours.
Earlier, it was reported on completion of perforation work at well #95 at South Kemachi field of Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC. Industrial gas inflow with daily flow rate of 53,000 cubic meters and 1.5 tons of gas condensate was obtained.
Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.
At the beginning of 2020, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Uzbekneftegaz to thoroughly analyze each field under its management and ensure increase in gas production.
