Romanian ROMGAZ company will establish a new branch - Sucursala de Furnizare Gaze Naturale Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Trend reports citing the company.
This decision was taken within the context of the necessity to develop the company’s activity, without limitation to end customers natural gas supply, within other areas than the ones covered at present by the existing working points and branches.
It is also taken into consideration the necessity to efficiently manage ROMGAZ participation in development and supply projects regulated by the the Memorandum concluded between S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. and S.C. Mehedinti S.A.
Through this MoU, the parties have agreed to establish a partnership for developing the project Thermal energy producing points.
The cooperation between the two parties will contribute to developing fast and favorable implementation practices for the benefit of the end consumer in order to ensure thermal energy supply continuity. The development of the above mentioned project aims to use natural gas to produce the thermal agent.
Adrian Volintiru, CEO of ROMGAZ, said during the MoU signing event of September 11, 2020 that signing the MoU between the two companies and establishing Drobeta Turnu-Severin Branch is actually the first step ROMGAZ took for becoming an active player on the natural gas distribution and supply market.
