Iran’s Aghajari Oil & Gas Production Company meets expectations

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 1

By Elnur Baghishov – Trend:

The extraction plan of Iran's Aghajari Oil & Gas Production Company (AOGPC) was fulfilled by 102 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), Managing Director of the company Ebrahim Piramoon said, Trend reports citing National Iranian South Oil Company’s official website.

The managing director emphasized given the number of problems in the current year, including the spread of the coronavirus, and the hot weather in the Khuzestan Province (southwestern Iran), the full implementation of the extraction plan is a great success.

Piramoon added that 43 different operations were carried out on wells for 6 months. As a result, 21,900 barrels of oil were added to the company's daily extraction.

“In addition, the company extracted 128,000 barrels of oil over six months using MOS (Mobile Oil Separator) and MOT (Mobile Oil Treaters) systems,” he noted.

Iran's Aghajari Oil & Gas Production Company is a subsidiary of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC). The company has 8 oil fields, including Aghajari, Karanj, Paranj, Parsi, Ramshir, Rag Sefid, Pazanan, and Marun. About 615,000 barrels of light and heavy crude oil is extracted daily from 8 fields. The company supplies fuel to domestic refineries and exports the remaining amount.
