The volume of produced gas in Azerbaijan from January through August 2020 exceeded 24.9 billion cubic meters, including 17.8 billion cubic meters of commercial gas, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee.
On an annualized basis, these indicators increased by 8 percent and 12.2 percent, respectively.
Over the reporting period, almost 23.4 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan, which is 7 percent less compared to the same period last year.
As of Sept. 1, 2020, the stock of finished petroleum products amounted to 353,700 tons.
In 2019, 37.52 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan, which is roughly equal to the indicator of 2018. The main volume of oil production in Azerbaijan falls on the block of Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) oil and gas fields.
The volume of gas production amounted to 35.59 billion cubic meters in 2019, of commercial gas production – to 24.53 billion cubic meters.
