Azerbaijan reveals volume of oil production from ACG and Shah Deniz fields

The total volume of oil produced (together with condensate) since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields until November 1, 2020 made up 549.7 million tons, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.

According to the ministry, 520.1 million tons of condensate were produced from the ACG field and 29.6 million tons of condensate from Shah Deniz.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz fields until November 1 this year 549.2 million tons of oil (together with condensate) have been exported.

During this period, 174.7 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and 131.5 billion cubic meters of gas from Shah Deniz.

"Since the commissioning of the Shah Deniz field until October 1 of this year, 87.6 billion cubic meters of gas have been exported," the information says.

Oil supplies to the country in the first ten months of 2020 amounted to 4.8 million tons, which is decline by 246,000 tons compared to the same period of last year.

Meanwhile, in the third quarter of this year, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) carried out over 11,000 meters of drilling.

At the same time, SOCAR processed about 1.3 million tons of oil, over 827 million cubic meters of natural gas.
