Iran's Ilam Gas Refining Company discloses its production data

The Ilam Gas Refining Company in the Ilam Province (western Iran) produced 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas and supplied to the Iranian gas network in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021), the Executive Director of the company, Rouhollah Nourian said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

Nourian noted that moreover, the company produced 1.5 million barrels of gas condensate last Iranian year.

“The company also produced 71,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) over the last year. The LPG gas production increased by 211 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019, through March 19, 2020),” he added.

The director emphasized that in addition, sulfur production of the company increased by 7 percent to 69,000 tons during last year.

According to Nourian, at the same time, the company's power plant generated 46,000 megawatt-hours of electricity and supplied it to the Iranian electricity network last year. The volume of supplied electricity has increased by 51 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year.

As reported, the first phase of the company’s refinery processes 6.8 million cubic meters of sour gas per day. After processing, 5.8 million cubic meters of methane gas will be transported through the Iranian gas network.

Furthermore, the first phase produces 370,000 cubic meters of ethane, 1,300 cubic meters of crude gas, 1,200 cubic meters of gas condensate, and 340 tons of sulfur per day. With the launch of the second phase of the refinery, this production will increase by 50 percent.
