SOCAR’s diesel fuel deliveries from Rosneft to Ukraine: latest data

Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR has delivered 9,900 tons of diesel fuel produced by Russia’s Rosneft to Ukraine from May 24 through May 30, Trend reports with reference to Ukrainian media.

Reportedly, 3,000 tons were supplied to Bel Petrol Trading (Motto) and 2,800 tons to Libro Trading. BS Oil (Unimex) and BRSM-Nafta were the ultimate recipients of 2,500 tons and 1,600 tons.

An OKKO group company imported 2,000 tons from SOCAR and sold it to the abovementioned traders.

OKKO got the first batch of Rosneft’s diesel fuel on May 24.

SOCAR will supply Rosneft’s oil products to the Baltic stated, Ukraine, Poland.

"SOCAR continues to develop its positions in international oil trading. To this end, the company signed an agreement with Rosneft to organize the supply of their oil products to the Baltic states, Ukraine, Poland and other Eastern European countries", the company said earlier.

Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR’s representative office opened in Ukraine in 2008.

The company acquired about 20 Tala-Nafta filling stations in Odessa and Nikolaev regions. as well as Svitanok large oil depot in Odessa region in 2009.

The company took control of the fuelling networks ONIO (four filling stations in Kyiv and the region) and GFC (in Lviv region) in 2010-2011. SOCAR received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to purchase 26 filling stations and one tank farm of the Kalina group in August 2012.
