Uzbekneftegaz JSC and French Arkema discussed the introduction of advanced technologies in installations for purifying natural gas from sulfur compounds using zeolite, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to the information, Uzbekneftegaz JSC conducts joint work with companies with worldwide experience. Among them, cooperation with the French Arkema company has been established. Also, work is being carried out on the use of chemical reagents developed by the company in oil and gas departments under the jurisdiction of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
In particular, an example of the above is a meeting held in the format of a video conference at the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department, which was attended by specialists from the relevant departments of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department, and representatives of French Arkema.
The meeting discussed technological solutions for implementation of the project and the choice of optimal chemical reagents for zeolite in order to increase production efficiency.
Currently, the growing demand for the compliance of natural gas quality indicators with the requirements of the O'zDSt-948: 2016 standard, as well as improving the quality of processed gas raw materials in management, stimulate the improvement of existing technologies.
“This will allow in the future to introduce modern highly efficient technologies for natural gas purification and ensure uninterrupted operation of the installations,” the message said.
