Azerbaijan exported about 14 million tons of oil with condensate from January through June 2021, which is by 667,000 tons or 4.8 percent, less than in the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the report of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy.
According to the ministry, 13.3 million tons were exported by the consortium while 738,700 tons - by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan SOCAR.
In accordance with the report, 3.3 million tons of oil were refined in the country from January through June 2021. The volume of refined oil from January through June 2021 increased by 276,300 tons compared to the same period of last year.
The export of the registered oil from Azerbaijan in 2020 reached 29.2 million tons. The total value of oil exported during the reporting period amounted to $9.4 billion. Oil export in quantitative terms in 2020 decreased by 5.9 percent compared to 2019 while in monetary terms - by 36.8 percent.
