Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz JSC is carrying out large-scale work to increase the production of natural gas in the fields, Trend reports citing Uzbeknefteqaz.
In particular, along with the overhaul of wells, drilling of new wells, repair, and commissioning of abandoned wells in the complex is being carried out.
Workover work has been successfully completed at well No. 23 of the Shimoliy Berdak field in the Ustyurt gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
The well was perforated in the depth of 2273-2270 meters, 2242-2237 meters. As a result of the development, and the industrial gas inflow was obtained with a daily flow rate of 70,000 cubic meters and 0.5 tons of gas condensate.
The overhaul works were carried out by the specialists of Uzneftegazkuduktamirlash JSC.
Shimoliy Berdak gas condensate field is located in the Muynak region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and was commissioned in 2006.
