Eurostat reveals exports data of Turkmen oil products to EU countries

The total volume of oil products exported from Turkmenistan to the European Union from January through June 2021 physical terms accounted for 1,535 tons worth 4.6 million Euros, Eurostat told Trend.

According to Eurostat, Turkmenistan mainly exports oil products to Austria, Belgium (incl. Luxemburg), Czechia, Germany, Estonia, France, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, and Slovakia.

According to Eurostat’s 1H2021 report, during the reporting period, Turkmenistan exported oil products from Austria, Belgium (incl. Luxemburg), Germany, Lithuania, and the Netherlands.

It is reported that during the reporting period the largest volume of oil products imported by Turkmenistan accounted for Germany. It is noted that in 1H2021 Turkmenistan exported to Germany 11,071 tons of oil products worth 3.7 million Euros.

It is followed by the Netherlands, which imported from Turkmenistan 1,793 tons of oil products worth 404,434 Euros.

At the same time, Belgium (incl. Luxemburg) and Austria exported to Turkmenistan 1,793 and 0,779 tons, respectively.

In value terms, imports of oil products from this country amounted to 180,142, Euros (Belgium) and 197, 585 Euros (Austria).

It is noted that Lithuania in 1h2021 imported from Turkmenistan the least volume of oil products - 0,554 tons worth 99,762 Euros.

Also, according to the report, the total volume of oil products imported by Turkmenistan from EU countries from January through June 2021 accounted for 510,063 tons worth 204 million Euros.
