Eurasian petroleum production to be on rise by 2023

Eurasian petroleum and other liquids production will stand at 14.64 million barrels per day in 2022, as compared to 13.70 mbd in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

EIA estimates Eurasia’s quarterly production in 2022 at 14.36 mbd, 14.54 mbd, 14.74 mbd and 14.90 mbd, respectively.

The production in 2023 is expected at the level of 14.96 mbd, with quarterly forecasts standing at 14.97 mbd, 14.90 mbd, 14.94 mbd and 15.05 mbd in Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4, respectively.

The volume of production in Eurasia was 13.41 mbd as of 2020, according to EIA.

In particular, EIA expects Azerbaijan to produce 0.74 mbd and 0.71 mbd in 2022 and 2023 respectively, as compared to 0.72 mbd in 2021. Kazakhstan’s output is set to 2.00 mbd in 2022 and 2.01 in 2023. Russia’s production will stand at 11.54 mbd in 2022 and 11.87 mbd in 2023, as compared to 10.78 mbd in 2021, while Turkmenistan will produce 0.23 mbd in 2022 and 0.24 mbd in 2023, versus 0.24 mbd in 2021. Other Eurasia’s output is forecast at 0.13 mbd in 2022 and 2023 each.
