BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Azerbaijan’s total crude oil and oil products’ exports stood at around 5.887 million tons worth $3.68 billion from January through March 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.
In terms of import volume, Italy came in first with 2.381 million tons worth $1.489 billion, followed by Portugal with 560,465 tons worth $390.606 million and Israel with 521,032 tons worth $328.08 million.

There are three main oil pipelines transporting oil from Azerbaijan to its neighbours and on to world markets: Baku-Novorossiysk Pipeline, Baku-Supsa Pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Pipeline.
In addition, railway lines traversing the length of Azerbaijan are also used to convey oil to the Batumi and Kulevi terminals located on the Black Sea along the coast of Georgia.
