US reveals forecasts for Russia's petroleum output

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) expects that petroleum and other liquids production in Russia will stand at 10.42 million barrels per day (mb/d) in 2022, as compared to 10.04 mb/d in the previous forecast, Trend reports.

As such, the energy administration expects Russia to lower production as compared to 10.78 mb/d in 2021.

EIA estimates that Russia produced 11.30 mb/d in Q1, for the rest of the quarters the volume of production will stand at 10.33 mb/d, 10.09 mb/d and 9.97 mb/d, respectively.

Russia is expected to produce 9.52 million barrels per day in 2023, as compared to 9.15 million barrels per day in the previous forecast.

The quarterly production will stand at 9.72 million barrels per day in Q1, 9.56 million barrels per day in Q2, 9.46 million barrels per day in Q3 and 9.35 million barrels per day in Q4.

Russia’s petroleum and other liquids production stood at 10.78 million barrels per day in 2021.

The country produced 10.42 million barrels per day, 10.71 million barrels per day, 10.80 million barrels and 11.16 million barrels per day in the first, second, third and fourth quarters of 2021, respectively, according to EIA.
