BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. The volume of oil production at Zigh-Hovsan Absheron field in Azerbaijan stood at 0.42 million barrels in 2021 versus the forecasted 0.47 million barrels, Trend reports with reference to the Chamber of Accounts.
The production plan at the field was implemented by 89.36 percent.
Zigh-Hovsan Absheron produced 0.48 million barrels in 2020 and 0.50 million barrels in 2019.
Zigh field is located in the north-east of Baku and has been put into industrial development since 1935. The Hovsan field is located 20 kilometers east of Baku, south of the Absheron Peninsula, and has been put into industrial development since 1948.
