BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. The volume of oil extraction in Kazakhstan amounted to 49.9 million tons from January through July 2022, which is 0.3 percent more than during the same months of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
Industrial manufacturing in the country increased by 2.7 percent compared to the reporting period of 2021.
Thus, the manufacturing of copper ore amounted to 76.4 million tons, which is 6.2 percent more compared to the reporting months of 2021. Manufacturing of petrol amounted to 2.8 million tons (increase of 5.2 percent compared to the same period of 2021).
Manufacturing of Portland cement was 7.3 million tons, which is 0.7 percent more than during the same period of 2021. Manufacturing of metal constructions was 44,100 tons (increase by 2 percent), of electricity to 65.7 billion kWh (decrease by 1.2 percent).
The value of products manufactured in Kazakhstan stood at 28.08 trillion tenge ($59 billion) over seven months of 2022, of which 14.9 trillion tenge ($31.4 billion) accounted for the mining industry, and 11.5 trillion tenge ($24.3 billion) for manufacturing.
Production of crude oil increased by 0.3 percent, of natural gas by 2.2 percent, beverages by 9.1 percent, tobacco products by 16.7 percent, rubber and plastic products by 5.3 percent.
