BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 9. Azerbaijan exported almost 266,569 tons of crude oil and petroleum products to Austria from January through April 2023, which is 2.88 percent of the total export of raw materials from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
This figure increased by 3.2 times, or 183,668 tons on annual basis.
The value of the export of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to Austria in the first four months of this year amounted to $152.15 million, up by $96.37 million (2.72 times) compared the same period in 2022.
Azerbaijan totally exported about 9.2 million tons of oil and petroleum products from January through April 2023, which is 2.6 percent less in comparison with the previous year (9.5 million tons).
The total value of oil exports amounted to more than $5.7 billion, which is 12.7 percent, or $829,564 less compared to the period from January through April 2022.
