BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 19. Azerbaijan exported over 1 million tons of oil and petroleum products to India from January through May 2023, which is 8.74 percent of the total Azerbaijani crude export, Trend reports.
This indicator increased year-on-year by 7.1 percent, or more than 68 million tons.
In value terms, Azerbaijani exports of oil and petroleum products to India during the reporting period amounted to over $610.3 billion, which is 20.73 percent less compared to the same period in 2022.
Azerbaijan exported about 11.7 million tons of oil and petroleum products in general from January through May 2023, which is 3.24 percent more in comparison with the same period last year (11.3 million tons).
In value terms, oil exports exceeded $7.2 billion, which is 10.4 percent, or $83.8 million less than in the same period last year.
