BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. Azerbaijan imported 16,930 tons of RON-92 gasoline from January through June 2023, which is 88.8 percent lower than the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the cost of gasoline imported during this period amounted to $12.8 million (a decline of 92.6 percent).
Turkmenistan accounted for the largest volume of imports (71.2 percent) - 12,050 tons worth $10.2 million, and Azerbaijan imported from Russia 4,870 tons worth $2.6 million in the first half of 2023.
In general, Azerbaijan imported 198.790 tons of RON-92 gasoline worth $223.5 million in 2022.
