BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 18. A whopping 24.1 million tons of oil, gas condensate included, rolled off the production line in Azerbaijan from January through October 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Ministry of Energy indicate that 13.9 million tons of the production accounted for the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 3.5 million tons (gas condensate) - the Shah Deniz field, and 500,000 tons (gas condensate) - the Absheron field.
The good news is that the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) achieved a remarkable total oil production, inclusive of gas condensate, reaching an impressive 6.2 million tons.
Throughout this timeframe, a staggering 19.9 million tons of oil, encompassing gas condensate, were successfully exported. A total of 17.4 million tons were allocated to consortiums, while SOCAR received 2.5 million tons.
The oil refining from January through October 2024 amounted to 5.5 million tons.
To note, in October 2024, daily oil production (including gas condensate) amounted to 79,947 tons. Out of this volume, 65,462 tons were crude oil and 14,485 tons were gas condensate.
