SOCAR Announces volume of associated gas of AIOC which was delivered for testing to SCP

In October the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) produced and passed 2.47mln. cu.m. of gas for operations at South Caucasian Pipeline (SCP), SOCAR officials told Trend. Over the first 6 months of 2006 some 40.93mln cu.m. of gas in total has been passed.

The gas for commissioning was pumped on May 21, from the Sangachal Terminal. The remainder of SCP will be tested in August after the gas is pumped in gas treatment premises at Sangachal Terminal and offshore pipelines running from the Shah Deniz field.

Around 0.1mln cu m of gas is required for testing the whole export system Shah Deniz SCP, starting the Shah Deniz Platform to Sangachal terminal and onwards to the Georgian-Turkish border.

Gas produced for SCAR from Azeri-Chirag-Gunahsli is used for testing.
