Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Nika Gilauri, the Georgian Energy Minister, stated in talks with journalists after a government meeting on 11 July, that the Agency to Regulate Oil and Gas will be subordinated to the Georgian Energy Ministry and will be deprived of a major part of its functions. A staff cut is also expected at the Agency.
"This state body will be supervised by the Ministry and function as a state body in charge of regulating functions," he noted.
