Azerbaijan’s UniBank completed the third quarter of 2019 with a net profit of 66.8 million manat ($39.2 million), while the same period last year was completed with a profit of 34.1 million manat ($20 million), Trend reports referring to the bank’s financial report.
Since the beginning of the year, the bank’s profit has almost doubled, according to the report.
The bank’s net interest income doubled, amounting to 38.5 million manat ($22.6 million) and was formed through interest income of 64 million manat ($37.6 million, growth for the year - 86.3 percent) and interest expense of 25.5 million manat (nearly $15 million, increase by 56.4 percent).
The bank’s non-interest income increased by 9.7 percent and amounted to 15.5 million manat ($9.1 million). The bank’s non-interest expenses at the end of September this year amounted to 44.8 million manat ($26.3 million, an increase of 17.8 percent).
Net operating profit of the bank amounted to 66.8 million manat ($39.2 million), having increased almost twice over the year.
