The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan will enter into a loan agreement with the US lender – Deere Credit Inc., Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.
The relevant decree authorizing the conclusion of the above-mentioned contract was signed by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The credit agreement will be signed for 7 years in order to finance 85 percent of the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment purchased by entrepreneurs – individuals and legal entities from John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co.KG company.
According to the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, the two sides have previously signed an agreement on financing the project designed for the supply of agricultural machinery and equipment as well as spare parts and expendable materials to it for the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management of Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan actively uses agricultural machinery of John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co.KG thus, the company makes a great contribution to the development and strengthening of the technical base of the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan.
