BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Total liabilities of Azerbaijan’s Unibank increased from January through March 2022, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.
According to the balance sheet, this figure amounted to over 974.3 million manat ($573.1 million), up by 232.8 million manat ($136.9 million) or 31.41 percent on annual basis.
A significant share (73.38 percent) in the structure of liabilities accounted for deposits, which grew by 27.52 percent over the year - up to 714.9 million manat ($420.5 million). At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the mentioned structure equaled 18.31 percent. Deposits of legal entities grew by 40.33 percent over the year and amounted to 130.8 million manat ($76.9 million).
The share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of Unibank amounted to 81.69 percent. These deposits increased by 24.96 percent over the year - up to 584 million manat ($343.5 million).
The share capital of Unibank amounted to 130.6 million manat ($76.8 million) in the first quarter of 2022, up by 3.98 percent over the year.
The bank’s capital reserves equaled 8.9 million manat ($5.2 million), thus having grown by 24.13 percent over the year.
The total capital of the bank in 1Q2022 amounted to 100.3 million manat ($59 million), up by 2.72 percent on annual basis.
