BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Total liabilities of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan increased from January through March 2022, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to the balance sheet, this figure amounted to 263.7 million manat ($155.1 million), up by 22 million manat ($12.9 million) or 9.1 percent on annual basis.

A significant share (89.5 percent) in the structure of liabilities accounted for deposits, which grew by 6.36 percent over the year - up to 236 million manat ($138.8 million). At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the mentioned structure equaled 71.51 percent. The deposits amounted to over 168.7 million manat ($99.2 million), which is growth of 14.24 percent year on year.

The share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan made up 28.49 percent. These deposits reduced by 9.35 percent on annual basis - to 67.2 million manat ($39.5 million).

The bank’s share capital amounted to 55.38 million manat ($32.58 million) in the first quarter of 2022, remaining unchanged over the year.

Meanwhile, retained earnings of the bank exceeded 24.6 million manat ($14.4 million). The bank’s capital reserves stood at over 2.4 million manat ($1.4 million), thus having grown by 59.42 percent year on year.

The total capital of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan in 1Q2022 amounted to 82.4 million manat ($48.4 million), up by 0.64 percent on annual basis.
