BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. The analysts of Dutch ING forecast average annual inflation in Azerbaijan in 2024 at the level of 1.6 percent (3.1 percent in the previous forecast), Trend reports.
The ING forecasts average annual inflation in Azerbaijan at 3.8 percent in 2025 (no changes) and 4.2 percent in 2026 (not forecasted previously).
To note, the UN forecasts average annual inflation in Azerbaijan to be 5.9 percent in 2024 and 3.9 percent in 2025, while the Asian Development Bank (ADB) projects 5.5 percent in 2024 and 6.5 percent in 2025. The World Bank (WB) forecasts inflation at 2.2 percent in 2024 and 2.3 percent in 2025.
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) anticipates annual inflation in the country to be between 5 and 5.5 percent in 2024.
