BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 31. Production of electric car chargers will begin in Azerbaijan soon, Trend reports via the Economic Zones Development Agency (IZIA).
"At the Aghdam Industrial Park, Eel Electric LLC, a resident company specializing in electrical distribution equipment and sockets, has made significant progress towards commencing production, with 85 percent of the necessary work completed. The installation of equipment from Türkiye and European countries is currently in progress," the report stated.
This company is set to produce electric car chargers in Azerbaijan for the first time. Additionally, Eel Electric will manufacture internal and external switchgear (35–10 kV), power boards (0.4 kV), capacitors, and transformer substations of varying capacities.
This 1.7-hectare facility will create permanent employment for 70 people.
The products are anticipated to be extensively utilized, particularly in Karabakh's construction and installation initiatives.
