The Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry stated on Monday that it plans to take part in discussing issues of postal service reliability and safety.
The discussion will be held on April 1 in Almaty (Kazakhstan) in a joint 32nd meeting of the Postal Commission of the Regional Commonwealth of Communications (RCC) and 21st meeting of the RCC Postal Operators Board.
Novruz Mammadov will represent Azerbaijan at the meetings, as head of the postal services department of the ministry and as chairman of the postal services of the RCC.
The meetings will discuss the joint stamp, the implementation of concepts of establishment within the RCC express mail system (EMS RCC) and other issues.
These meetings, however, will be preceded by the third international workshop on March 29-31. It will focus on the Universal Postal Union's strategic regional project "Improving quality of service."
