Azerbaijan is one of the first CIS countries introducing the "cloud" infrastructure, HP Azerbaijan Office head Rufat Hajialibeyov told Trend on Friday.

He said HP Blade Matrix System first in the CIS was sold only in Azerbaijan. HP Blade Matrix System is a hardware base of "cloud" infrastructure. The system is implemented in the company operating in the private sector.

"HP is focused on improving knowledge about "cloud" technologies among Azerbaijani specialists and in this regard, the company conducts periodic focus workshops on the "cloud" solutions. At present, we continue to actively cooperate in this direction, with both private and public sectors. We have every ground to hope that this mutually beneficial cooperation will continue in the future," he said.

"In March, HP strategy was developed, which is built on the "cloud" solutions and software to meet the changing needs of our customers strongly influenced by certain market tendencies, defining the consumption and technology introduction. In this regard, the company pays great attention to this "cloud" development," Hajialibeyov said.
