Azerbaijan, Baku, March 15 / Trend H. Valiyev /

The services of the Azerbaijani State Committee on State Property Management will be integrated into "single window" system, deputy chairman of the State Committee Rafiq Jalilov told media today.

The electronic real estate registration project has been presented in Baku today.

"This will allow citizens to receive comprehensive services in on-line mode without visiting the relevant agencies," Jalilov said.

He said that the work is underway to create a digital map of the real estate cadastre. The database of real estate is transferred into electronic form. The electronic registration system is being created. A number of other important projects are being implemented in this area.

E-services launched on the webpage of the State Committee, are now available seven days a week 24 hours a day," Jalilov said.

Head of the World Bank's Project Group Malcolm Childress said that the creation of electronic services is a very important element that will increase the functionality of the real estate registration system.

"Of course, this factor will affect the increase in the number of services to consumers, thus ensuring the efficient process of managing all issues relating to property," he said.

Electronic services for real estate registration will be implemented in two phases.
The first phase has been launched since March 1. Citizens make applications in electronic form. The service is available in the "electronic services" section at emdkdedrx.gov.az.

The second phase will start from May 1. Along with submitting statements and certificates about real estate, the opportunity will also be given to receive the documents in a scanned format.

The documents were kept in both paper and electronic format in the database after 2006.

After creating a national registration system, state agencies having access to the database (Ministry of Taxes, Ministry of Emergency Situations, prosecutors, public prosecutor's office, municipalities, etc.) will be able to enter the base and take the necessary information in on-line mode.
