Uzbekistan's internet improves during COVID-19 pandemic

Uzbekistan's internet speed has improved during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Ookla's Speedtest Global Internet Performance ranking, Trend reports with reference to the service.

Ireland's Ookla has published data of Speedtest Tracking the Impact of COVID-19 on Global Internet Performance as of June 1, 2020.

According to the rating, Uzbekistan has improved the performance of fixed (wired) internet by six percent (to 27.12 Mbps) and improved the performance of mobile internet by 18 percent (to 11.92 Mbps).

On average, the Fixed Speed Change has improved the performance of the fixed (wired) internet by one percent and Mobile Speed Change has improved the performance of the mobile internet by seven percent worldwide.
